It was a great pleasure to present Watch Supervisor Sandy Dvorak with the “Stork Award” at today’s Sumner County Commission meeting. Sandy successfully assisted with the delivery of a baby over the phone on June 27th using Emergency Medical Dispatch protocols.
Sandy has been with the Department for 19 years starting as a Dispatcher in 1998. She then served as the Department TAC Officer until her promotion to Watch Supervisor where she is currently assigned to Day Shift. Shown in the photo L to R are Commissioner Jim Newell, Deputy 911 Director Marcie Bristor, Watch Supervisor Dvorak, and Commission Chairman Cliff Bales.
Sandy was presented with the Stork Award in addition to a Letter of Commendation. Good job Sandy!
