Today, Sumner County Emergency Communications honored Cara Bishop-Wichman who recently celebrated her tenth anniversary on the job. Cara began as a dispatcher with SCEC on December 1, 2008 and since that time, has served as the Department’s TAC Officer and is currently assigned the duties of Watch Supervisor on Night Shift. The average career of a dispatcher nationally, is just seven years, so celebrating 10 years of service is quite an accomplishment.
Cara was presented with a certificate honoring her service, along with a wooden flag wall art bearing “The Thin Gold Line” representing Public Safety Dispatchers, and a gift card for dinner. Cara is a great asset to our Department, and we appreciate her dedication and service.
Thank you Cara!
