Dispatcher Alyssa Sellers was presented with the Heartsaver Award for successful performance of telephone CPR. As Emergency Medical Dispatchers, dispatchers must be prepared to provide medical instructions over the phone until EMS arrives, even in the performance of delivering a child, instruction on the Heimlich maneuver, and instruction on CPR. Congratulations Alyssa for a job well done!
