We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the firefighters serving Sumner County for their dedication, commitment, and to most, their volunteerism. Today is St. Florian’s Day (Patron Saint of Firefighters) and is celebrated as International Firefighters Day. If you see a firefighter today, thank them for their service.

Established in 1995, Sumner County 911 Emergency Communications is responsible for receiving and processing emergency calls from the citizens and guests of Sumner County, Kansas, and dispatching and coordinating the response of over 30 law enforcement, fire, EMS, and Emergency Management agencies to those emergencies.
